"Where the arts are used for God's glory!"

Dance Etiquette & Attire

1) Maintain the utmost respect for the teacher and one another...remember, we are each made in the likeness of our Creator, God. For those of us who have received Jesus Christ as Savior and made Him Lord of our lives, we are His child BEFORE we are a student or an instructor. Thus, respect is due upon each individual.

If the teacher notes disrespect one toward another or toward self, the child will be reprimanded lovingly, yet firmly. If it continues within th e class, the child will be asked to sit out from class and take notes of what is being taught. The parent(s)/Guardian(s) of the child will be notified of the event via email/phone (NOT after class...the next class needs to begin on time). If the problem persists, the child will be dropped from the class ("Drop Class" forms will be issued to the parent(s)/guardian(s)).

2) Come to class 5-10 min. ahead of scheduled class time to prepare (put your belongings in the cubbies, put on the appropriate dance shoe, check for neatness, etc). Then meet in a circle in the center to open up in prayer (5 min.).

If more than 15 minutes late, the child is to remain in class, but sit out and take notes of the class (this will help him/her not fall behind as each class is progressive toward the following class).
