So, how's it done? Do you compromise your values to get your "foot in the door," then let 'em have it after your in the "inside?" Do you preach to the agents, casting directors, and managers from the beginning and tell them up front what your faith will not allow you to do (inappropriate photos, songs with messages that go against your faith, etc). Good luck with that one....you'll never get hired, so no worries of compromising there :o).
God tells us (and teaches us thru MANY examples in His Word) on how to be as gentle as a dove (focused on "loving anyone who is not you" in the verb tense of the word) while being as wise as a serpent (not necessarily letting the right hand know what the left hand is doing..ie. Esther & Mordecai, David pretending to be "crazy", Abraham and Sarai pretend they are not married, Rahab lies about not seeing the Israilite soldiers, etc.).
While each situation is not "black & white," the motive is.
Check your motive (ie. ask yourself "why" you are doing what you're doing). Pray. If God gives clearance, go for it...He will NOT allow you to do anything immoral. So, if you're thinking that you could pretend to NOT be a Christian and do unethical/immoral things to get into the business, and then let it be known once you're in ... chances are, you've been praying to the wrong god.
Tell me YOUR thoughts....
